Vice President, AMER Enterprise - West
The Vice President, US Enterprise West - Americas will lead Nutanix’s field sales strategy and execution across the Western Region. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Americas Sales, this leader will be responsible for driving regional revenue growth, strengthening customer engagement, and expanding Nutanix’s market presence across key segments.
- Execute the Americas field sales strategy in alignment with global and regional objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop regional and district sales leaders to build a high-performing, accountable field organization.
- Drive pipeline creation and deal progression through strong partnership engagement, field marketing alignment, and channel enablement.
- Foster a customer-centric culture centered on long-term relationships, adoption, and value realization.
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Services, Engineering, and Operations to support field execution and regional priorities.
- Manage revenue targets for the field organization with disciplined forecasting, territory planning, and performance management.
- Advocate for Nutanix’s hybrid multi-cloud solutions and enable customers on their modernization and transformation journeys.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise customers and partners to expand Nutanix’s reach and influence.
- Represent the field organization in customer meetings, partner forums, and industry events.
- Provide leadership that reinforces collaboration, accountability, and continuous development across the field sales teams.
- Work with global and regional leadership to optimize go-to-market motions and support operational excellence initiatives.
- 12+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in enterprise technology, including cloud, storage, virtualization, or infrastructure.
- Experience selling across Enterprise segments, with an ability to tailor approaches to diverse buying behaviors.
- Demonstrate success leading and driving both value and velocity selling motions.
- Proven success executing a sales playbook that focuses on talent, coverage model, and quality of sale in a channel centric environment.
- Demonstrated success leading geographically distributed teams and managing large regional revenue portfolios.
- Strong understanding of subscription/SaaS business models and hybrid multi-cloud environments.
- Excellent communication skills and executive presence with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience developing and executing regional go-to-market plans within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong operational discipline and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and execution.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel), and sales enablement platforms.
- Proven capability in partner/channel engagement and closing large enterprise deals.
- Solid financial acumen related to forecasting, budgeting, and resource planning.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Ability to travel approximately 50%.
